Great receptionists and doctors.

We cannot fault the good service we have received from the practice. We have found the receptionists polite and the doctors extremely helpful. Their jobs are not easy and we would like to say a big thank you to all of them.

Outstanding Service

I have recently joined the surgery and I must admit I was a little worried as I had heard bad feedback but I have got to say I cannot fault the care I have been given! I have had numerous appointments (which have been easy to book) in the last few weeks due to ongoing poor health after surgery and even had an on the day emergency appointment which I got without a problem, each time I have been seen the GP has been excellent and caring. Just goes to show you cannot believe everything you hear/see. I have had no problems getting through on the phone, no problems booking appointments in a reasonable time and like I said even managed an on the day appointment - all things I had heard were difficult to do! Would definitely recommend!

Positive experience

Due to travel problems I arrived late but the minor surgery unit fitted me in to the schedule. All the staff that I encountered were helpful, friendly and caring. The surgery environment was clean, comfortable and inviting. Overall it was a positive experience and I would be happy to use this practice again.

Best Practice, Caring and Compassionate. Not perfect!

I'm saddened by the comments shown in some of the reviews here. This Health Centre and its branch surgeries are by no means perfect, but the level of care and compassion shown by the GPs Healthcare Assistants, Practice Nurses and admin team is exemplary in my family's experience. My family has endured some challenging health situations and everyone at the Practice has been very supportive. As Chair of the PPG for the past five years, I know that the Practice is investing in new technologies and communication systems and more staff to handle calls and manage appointments. This has caused challenging queues during transition but the wait will be worth it. More online appointments, 24/7 access to your health care records and online prescription management. Please be a patient patient. With a rapidly growing population locally there will always be challenges and peak demands but all things considered, the best healthcare I have ever seen by a long way. Let's have some perspective here, 19000 + patients, 4 Partner GPs and upto 8 other GPs across the Group, amazing service and a handful of complaints. I also know that 100s of appointments are not used, every week, because people don't show up. That's not fair on others who need an appointment and it's a waste of GPs time and your money. Constructive feedback is always welcome and in my experience this is a listening practice that does care and acts on feedback to make things better. Come along and join us on the PPG and see for yourself. That way you can really make a difference.
