New system from the 16th February 2026 – GP Triage

As you will be aware we have been required to offer an online triage system since October 2025. We have been using Anima since this time and have recently reviewed the benefits and efficiencies of this system for patients and our team. Anima is good system, and easy to use, but we have found that it requires a lot of GP time away from patients, and a delay in patients being offered appointments. Following this review, we have decided to use a different system from the 16th February 2026 – GP Triage. This uses AI in a similar way to Anima, but will allow patients to book appointments quicker themselves, and allow us to offer more appointments with a GP. You will be able to access this through our website, like Anima.

Please see this YouTube video for further guidance - GP Triage will be used for all contacts/requests to the practice in the same way we have used Anima, and our staff are happy to help anyone who is unable to do this.
