The New Greenhithe Surgery Building Statement

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

Swanscombe and Bean Partnership and Temple Hill Group are developing plans for a new medical centre in Greenhithe, as outlined in the NHS Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG’s) GP estates strategy.

The proposed new medical centre will replace three existing branch surgeries in Greenhithe and provide capacity to accommodate population growth in the area.

The proposed site of the new medical centre is Steele Avenue, which is owned by Kent County Council. Councillors recently agreed to authorise the disposal of the land and the council is finalising the sale.

The next steps will involve developing detailed plans for the medical centre and a business case that will be submitted to the CCG for approval. To inform the plans and business case, we will be engaging with our patients and local stakeholders and as soon as we are able we will share more details about when we expect to do this.
